Penguin, has signed onPenguin,I can't quite grasp the concept of the whole 'we need lyrics with feelings' thing when there were bands in the 60's saying 'she was as skinny as a peice of macaroni' and Katy Perry's (i have nothing against that woman may I mind you, I think she's great) I kissed a girl, but you know, when I do something relativley close to that, just messing around i get my butt chewed out. Clarification anybody? .

Penguin,Yeah, but mostly ever poet has something deep and emotional. Katy Perry's music is just like 'bam!' and out there. i mean, as a lyricist i wouldn't look up to her one bit needless to say. I wouldn't really look up to the Beatles either, really, I bet they did at least 2 albums when they were high. Maybe being straight forward with lyrics would make it better, instead of making people guess what its about, then end up getting a bunch of gossip about you and the love that never existed with a girl you've never met.

Little Miss Vixen no! no! no! that ruins all the fun. if your straight forward than the song is just like...blah. you need something like the format's lyrics. you get an idea of what its about but you still have to kind of figure it out. dude the beatles are awesomeness! i wouldn't look up to them either but i do love them.

Penguin,Yeah, but with a lot of songs now they're like that, rap, doesn't have good lyrics, but people learn what it does have quickly and enjoy it a lot more than deep lyrics, maybe because they understand the words, I mean, some words Zack has never heard of and he went through a year of college, but meh. I have my own writing style. I look up to the Beatles, I really do. I mean, some of their lyrics are awesome, but others, like I Am The Walrus has the oddest lyrics in the world. I don't know, I hate this business.

Little Miss Vixen trudat. truedat. well i hate rap. hip-hop is berable. but i loathe rap and country. i was watching the beats i want to hold your hand video yesterday. its funny. they barely move ehen they're performing. they were like robots. though i really love that song. even the remake is great.

Penguin,I listen to the songs just for simple beats and such. You look at my iPod and theres about .2 gigs left, and its a bunch of different music. I like Country personally, Its not like I tune into those certain stations, because I don't, I just like it. Their performing style was certainly different, I sometimes wear my guitar as high as them sadly, I don't during live shows...
