Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it.
The music was blaring very loud from one of the other opening acts, and the lights were already making back stage over heated as they usually did. People where bustling around trying to get things ready to switch over to Julianne's band and own personal set decorations. That was what Julianne knew was going on while she sat in her dressing room, as final touch up's were done to make up and hair. She was still only in a robe, for she hadn't changed into her stage outfit. WavingT the people out of the room, she thanked them and locked her door.
Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself down, as she did before anytime of getting up on a stage. Though she had been in a bigger spotlight for a year now, the anxiousness never seemed to fade away. Grabbing the bag that had her outfit in it, she quickly slipped it on. And just as she opened the door to her dressing room, bursts of applause filled her ears signaling the end of Taylor Swifts opening act. Walking out and next to the stage, she nodded as Taylor ran past her to get a bottle of water. "Good job," she hollered as Julianne heard her named introduced. Running on out to the stage she waved. "How ya'll doing tonight?" she paused as everyone yelled, "Well that's fantastic, because tonight, I got a new song for ya'll. One I just wrote and I need ya'll to tell me how you like it, okay?" and again she paused as they yelled that they would. "Good good, now let me stop jabbering and get on with show!" she hollered as her band started playing.
Breathing in and out, she let a smile come to her face. She was a country singer, though she had her other moments to. Being born and raised in Texas did that to you, not that she actually said ya'll that much off the stage, it was more an act that her manager told her she needed to do.
Broken White lights alone on the freeway Sun falling down into your eyes I feel your hand reach for my hand Poetry fading in motion Looks like Im fading in twilight Under, over, I am falling
And suddenly, you're in two places I've never been Something transparent like seeing through who I am Maybe Im crazy, but Im bout to let you in I am, I am unraveling
Words are unnecessary, it's okay I am an open book, waiting for you to uncover me Tangled, wounded, perfect And suddenly, you're in two places I've never been Something transparent like seeing through who I am Maybe Im crazy, but Im bout to let you in I am, I am unraveling
Take me down, take me in, take me out of where you want to go, Im uneven Tell the world, crumble down, like sunlight around us Under, over, I am falling
And suddenly, you're in two places I've never been Something transparent, like seeing through who I am Maybe Im crazy, but Im bout to let you in I am, I am unraveling Yeah, I am unraveling Ohhhhhhhh, I am, I am unraveling I am unraveling
On finishing the song, she took a moment to breath as she felt sweat drip off her forehead. "So what ya'll think?" she said as everyone hollered their answer. "Well thats good, and here in two weeks I shall be having my own show so make sure you come out and see it, however before I go, I'm pleased to announce Toby Keith," she said as Toby joined her on the stage. She gave him a small hug as he kissed her on the cheek, with one last wave, she took off leaving the stage.
Running into her dressing room, she jumped into the shower to clean up before the after show. The after party was to be held at the Magic Castle for it was a very private place and not just anyone was able to get in, therefore Julianne, Taylor, Toby and all the other visiting stars would not have to deal with all the crazed fans. Though, Julianne had to admit it was flattering and she didn't mind it so much. Finishing up she jumped into the limo that held Taylor and Toby as well. "Great show guys!" she said as she hugged Taylor, whom she had toured with and got close to. They said the same to her as the limo pulled up.
Shortly after, they arrived on the red carpet. Stepping out first, Julianne smiled and posed for the paparazzi. Then allowed Taylor to join her as the posed together, then Toby as well. Making their way into the club, Julianne went directly to the bar, thanking god that she was famous and would be able to get any drink she wanted that night. Which she was going to need seeing as her own music producer decided to quit for a higher paying position with another artist. In all, Julianne found it alright for the fact that she needed someone who was going to be all about her, and he hadn't been. But now, she was suppose to be meeting the new music producer. He had quickly been a rising star music producer, young, and imaginative, though Julianne was still curious if that was all so why he would jump to be hers. Shaking her head, she took a sip of her sex on the beach and stepped away from the bar. It was already crowded making it hard to move, and to her dismay she bumped directly into someone pretty hard.

Jeremy had been in Hollywood for almost a month now and he had yet to see Julianne. He figured he would have run into her at the office, but everytime he had been in she had been out and vice versa. But now he knew he’d see her, he had his assistant find out where she would be tonight, he needed to talk to her, if it was the last thing he did.
Walking into the building where Julianne was supposed to be her was overwhelmed, he had been here a month but the amount of people still surprised him, he couldn’t believe that the amount of people that were in the club could all fit.
Looking around the club for the blonde head of hair he knew so well Jeremy pushed his way through the crowd, bumping elbows with all the people that most people would kill to bump elbows with, but right now he had eyes for one person, Julianne now if only he could find her.
After searching the club for a good ten minutes Jeremy headed over to the bar, deciding to order a drink and then look from the bar, maybe she hadn’t arrived yet, either way he couldn’t find her, and he needed a drink, a stiff one if he was going to see the girl who he loved, yet chose to end their relationship, he just hoped she wouldn’t toss a drink in his face and walk in the opposite direction.

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it.
On looking up, just a few feet from the bar, she looked into the face of the guy she had slightly bumped into. To her horror it was the exact person she was hoping to not run into. At that moment she could have swore, but yet when she went to nothing came out of her mouth. She simply stood, dumbfounded, looking up to the face of her first and only love. The very guy who had practically killed her when he ended their relationship without even giving her a reason.
Feeling the class begin to slip from her hand, she went to regrasp it, but had failed. "Damn," she said as the glass fell to the floor with a loud shatter. Quickly, she kneeled onto the floor and tried to pick the pieces up, only pausing once to look up into the face of Jeremy. She had so many things she wanted to say and do to him, but she just couldn't bring herself to. Instead, she stood up, with the glass in her hand. "Wh-what are you doing here!" she exclaimed as she felt all her emotions she had so strongly held in rush out, not even stopping to care that there probably was plenty of people watching her.
Still staring at him, she felt a small tear trickle down her cheek. "You uhm shit," she said not realizing she was squeezing the glass into the palm of her hand until she felt warm blood. Looking down she seen her hand bleeding pretty good. But instead of moving to do something, she only stared at it, then drew her gaze back up to meet Jeremy's.

Jeremy looked down at the girl he had been looking for after she had bumped into him, she was still as beautiful as he remembered, if not even more so, bending down to help her pick up the glass Jeremy didn't know what to say so he just stayed silent as he helped her and then put the pieces of broken glass that was in his hands on the top of the bar. Jeremy smiled slightly as she asked him what he was doing here, well he was here to find her and to win her back, if that was even possible, Jeremy didn't care what it took he would win her back no matter what, "I was offered a job a D'Aubigne Inc as the head of their Music department" Jeremy said, it wasn't a lie Mr. D'Aubigne had called him himself to offer him the job and of course Jeremy had jumped at the chance, he'd be able to make something of himself other than the pretty rich boy he was back home, now he'd be wealthy because of his own doing not his fathers. Jeremy grabbed Julianne's hand as he saw the blood start to trickle in her palm, opening her hand Jeremy carefully removed the glass shards and placed them on the bar top before turning to the bar tender, "Get me a wet towel." he barked the order making the bar tender jump and rush off to get him the wet towel he wanted, when the bartender returned her grabbed the towel and pressed it lightly to Julianne's palm, "you really should be more careful Juls." Jeremy said using the nickname he had always used for Julianne when they had been together.

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it. Julianne only looked at her hand still, not making a move to clean it up. She couldn't. Not at that moment at least. She had tried so hard after Vivian told her that he was in town to avoid him only to end up running into him on the night of her best concert ever. And not mention that the company was the one she dealt with. That was how she met Vivian to begin with, which met that she'd only have to see him more.
Feeling his hand open up hers, she let her fingers move off the glass. She looked at Jeremy as he took the pieces of glass and set them onto the bar and told the bartender to bring a wet towel. She wanted to pull away and run in the other direction, but when she tried to, her feet didn't move with her brain. "In the D'Aubigne Inc..." she said letting her voice drift off as she repeated it to get confirmed. "You mean, you will be-," she said shutting up as the bartender showed back up with towel. Flinching, she almost made to pull her hand away, but decided it was best to get her hand cleaned up. "I guess then we'll be working together," she finally finished as she shifted her gaze away from his face. She just couldn't look at him another moment with out asking why he had left her.
Hearing Juls, she looked back at him. Nobody had called her that since him. Her sister had picked it up from him and did on occasion. She had actually missed it. "I haven't been called that since- well you know," she said not wanting to be the one to bring up the break up. "I was being careful too, you know I've never been good in akward situations, and this would top the skill of all the akward situations I have ever been in too."

Jeremy nodded as she was trying to get the sentence out, same old Juls never being very good in situations she wasn't in complete control of, but that was why he loved her, she was so real, she actually showed her human side where as everyone else pretended to be soemthing they weren't, Julianne was always real, never fake, and he had missed that.
Jeremy knew he had made the biggest mistake of his life when he had ended things with Julianne, and he had wanted to take it back right after he had done it but she had run in the other direction when he reached for her to say he was being stupid and wanted to take it back, "Juls that's what I wanted to talk to you about." Jeremy said as he tucked a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear, god her hair was soft, it was just as he remembered it, soft and always smelling like her shampoo even in a crowded club he could smell it.
"Part of the reason I took the job with D'Aubigne was for you." Jeremy said, there he had gotten it out, what he had been trying to figure out how to tell her, he had thought about calling her after he had practically begged Vivian for her number, but Vivian never gave it to him, saying she wouldn't do that to her best friend, let the jerk who had broken her best friends heart try and do it again, but what then Jeremy had gone into his office and found her number in his files he had to review, but everytime he started to dial the number he always hung up before he dialed the last number never able to complete the call
"And your friend Vivian is stubborn as anything just to let you know" he said throwing in a sideways smile

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it. Every inch in Julianne's body seemed to respond to his touch in different ways like it always had. He had always made her lose control of all her senses. She couldn't even think straight at times when it came to him. Then the night her twin sister died, he had been right there, more then her own parents at been for her, and he held her until she woke up the next morning. She had missed being in his arms, the smell of his cologne, and just everything. Then not long after he had randomly broke it off. It had crushed her more then her own sisters death, she took it as she had nobody and she was all alone in the world, defiantly since she had thought that he was the one for her. She had even gone into a depression, that was hid from everyone in Texas, that was when she was sent to live with her aunt here in California. She had then met some people and got a record deal and struck it big. Though those haunting nights of her sisters death and the break up haunted her more then ever. And recently things had been miserable for her.
Finally, allowing herself to look at Jeremy, she was determined to not turn her gaze from him again. She was going to face it, face him, she had to for herself. "I don't think theres anything to talk about Jeremy. You had always been there for me defiantly through my sisters death," she said, allowing her hurt to show. "But when you broke it off without a care, I made myself get over it, and over you," she lied. She wasn't about to tell him anything else, unless he seen right through her act, which was very much possible. He knew her every move. "I mean, I even thought about being with you the rest of my life."
Then when he said part of the reason why he took the job was for her, she tilted her head slightly to the left amused. She couldn't understand why. "Why would you do that? You couldn't have known I was still even in California," she said although it was stupid since the tabloids must have said it a few times anyway.
At the last thing he said, she let herself laugh. Shrugging she nodded, "Oh yes she is, almost as stubborn as me, but I am much worse."

Jeremy wanted to kick himself even more after he heard she had thought about spending the rest of her life with him, Jeremy had a ring for her and was planning on proposing before her father had approached him and said he was holding her back, that had killed Jeremy he didn't want to be the reason he held her back, and he didn't want to regret not telling her how he felt about her.
Pulling her closer with the leverage he held over her in her arm Jeremy wrapped his free arm around Juliannes waist and almost forgot what he was going to do when he caught the smell of her perfume now that their distance had decreased, reaching up Jeremy rested his palm against the side of Juliannes face and held it so she would keep looking at him while he said what he needed to say, he didn't want her to look away he needed to see the reaction in her eyes.
Taking a deep breathe he looked down into Julianne's blue eyes, "I still love you Julianne, I always have I always will." Jeremy said searching her eye's for any kind of reaction, "That's why i took the job, and I knew you were still here because of you and your friend Vivian always in the tabloids."
"Please Juls, I'm begging you, let me prove to you I made a mistake, I regretted ending it between us not even two seconds after it happened but you ran off so quickly I couldn't fix it." Jeremy said knowing full well the truth was written in his eyes, "Please let me make it up to you." he begged.

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it. Slightly panicked by how she quickly she was falling again for Jeremy, she was about to attempt to pull away, however, just as she was about to she felt Jeremy pull gently on her arm as they became closer. Her heart pounded behind her chest, and she told herself to remain breathing, because at any minute she thought that she could just die. A few years had went by since she was that close with anyone.
She felt his hand on her face, and all the anger just melted away from her. She listened as he spoke to her. Jeremy hadn't got to far into what he was saying, only about to the part of him loving her, when a tear escaped from her eye and trickled down her cheek. She knew that at that moment she was going to fall apart, in front of everyone, all her friends, her managers, her family, everyone. She knew there was nothing she could do to stop it either. "If you loved me, then why did you end it? Why did you leave me when you knew I had nothing else? You knew my parents had went head first into their work and forgot they had even had me, but yet you just uped and left me all alone!" she exclaimed to him as more tears escaped, though she held it in the best she could.
Shaking her head, she didn't know what to do or say. Quietly she told the honest truth, "I don't know, I really don't know what to do," she said. Her mind told her not to let it, but her heart begged her to at least give him the chance. Then she remembered her sisters favorite thing she loved to tell Julianne at times like this, follow your heart. "You didn't try to stop me when I ran off though, you could have, and you could have stopped me at the airport before my parents shipped me off here," she said then she finally added. "But everyone deserves a second chance."

Jeremy hated to see Julianne cry, using his thumb he wiped the tears from her face, "Juls, I didn't want to believe me I didn't want to." he said shaking his head closing his eyes, "Your dad told me I was holding you back, saying that I was keeping you from fulfilling your dreams, and that I was just a waste of your time." Jeremy said a bit of anger in his voice, "And I believed I let him convince me that was how you felt and I left."
"And how could I have stopped you, you know how stubborn you are, and even with that I wouldn't change a single thing about you." Jeremy said looking Julianne in the eyes again. His mind hadn't been working at that moment, Julianne was stubborn, stubborn as a mule, stopping her would have been as hard as stopping stampede nearly impossible, but he did regret the fact that he didn't try.
When Jeremy heard that she was giving him a second chance he smiled brightly and picked her up and spun her around like he used to, and when he sat her down he looked into the sky blue pools of her eyes and bent his head and kissed her, it had been forever since he had kissed her and he had been dying to do it since she had bumped into her, when he pulled away he looked at Julianne and didn't know what to say, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." he finally said thinking it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do after she had just offered to give him a second chance.

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it. Julianne almost choked as he said he hadn't wanted to. If he hadn't wanted to, then he would never have done it. Or so she had believed. That was almost enough to make her take back what she had said about giving him a second chance, until he finished telling her why. She couldn't believe it when he said it was because of her father. She had once thought that, but when she had asked her father if he had done anything like that, he denied it. And if she didn't know her father that well, she would have thought Jeremy was lieing. "My dad," she said anger rising to her face. "My dad told you that! I- I can't believe him. And after I lost my own twin too!" she exlaimed wanting so much to find her father and hurt him. "He's the reason why you broke it off... I just, I can't, that that good for nothing son of a gun," she said with a slight stutter. She had always stuttered when she was upset, and no was defiantly one of those times.
Nodding, Julianne knew it was true. She would have insisted on walking away. And if he would have tried to grab her to stop her, she would just have fought him off, even if she had to hurt him in the process. "Your right, I would have." A smile then came to her face as he said he wouldn't change a thing about her. He was the only one who probably wouldn't. Even her own mother and father wanted to change things about her. "And thanks, your the only one who feels that way."
Feeling his arms around her, she didn't have time to stop him before she was in his arms being spun around. She could feel eyes on them, includin those of her fathers. She glanced his way, flashed a glare, and then looked back at Jeremy. Then she felt his lips press onto hers, and though she still wanted to pull away, she loved the feel. "Its okay," she said jumping a bit so she could reach his lips once more as she gently laid hers on his. "But from now on, lets do this a bit slower then that."

Jeremy chuckled a little bit as he heard her stutter come out, he knew it only came out when she was upset, there had been a few times in their relationship when it had been because of him, but those moments usually lasted about two maybe three minutes, knowing that her anger was building Jeremy just held her knowing that if he said anything trying to calm her down she would probably bite his head off and he did not want that to happen, especially when she was just starting to forgive gim.
"I do know you better than you think I do." Jeremy said smiling the sideways smile he always smiled at Julianne, Jeremy couldn't believe that he was the only one who felt that nothing should be changed about Julianne, he doubted that, he was sure her friends wouldn't change her for the world, especially that Vivian girl she intimidated him, but at the same time he respected her because of how much she seemed to care about Julianne.
Jeremy smiled down at Julianne when she said it was okay that he had kissed her but wanted to do it a bit slower than that, Jeremy lowered his head again to Juliannes and paued a few centimeters from her lips and whispered, "is this slow enough?" finally closing the distance after feeling their breathe intertwine because of how close he was to her face.

Julianne Winslow I was met to stand out, not fit in. Deal with it. In a way Julianne had wanted to just pick off were Jeremy and her had left off. To go back to being a couple, one that nobody could come between. But as she thought about it, someone could come between them and had. Her father. The shock of it all still was in her head. She had known her father thought Julianne was going far, which she did, and she might not have if she had stayed with Jeremy, but to her, he was more important then her career. Being a singer and in the spotlight lasted part of a life, but true love, well that lasted a life time. She didn't need all the money fame, all she would have needed was him. Her father had known that, for she had wrote songs about it all the time. But thinking that her father had made it end made her mad. He didn't even really support her career for the fact that he barely was ever in California. She was living alone in a house she had paid for that her Aunt occasionally stayed in as well. Her parents were still in Texas and she barely heard from them anymore. The whole thing sent sparks all through her body.
Feeling his arms stay wrapped around her, she felt safe, and like she was whole again. For the longest time something was missing in her almost perfect life, and she finally knew what it was. It was him. And now that she had him back, though she wasn't going to give in so easily or it wouldn't be her, she was determined to never let him go again, and not let her parents try to come in the way anymore. Nodding, she knew it was true, he knew her better then anyone, even her bestfriends. "I know you do, thats what makes it all so much easier instead of having to explain every action," she said. At that moment she was happy and she was hoping that it just lasted this time.
Laughing, as her nose wrinkled, which it hadn't done in a long time, Julianne couldn't help but kiss him. He was just to cute at times that she couldn't resist no matter what had happened. "Jay," she said using his pet name now, "I still love you too," she let come out of her mouth in a small whisper, she was afraid that he might not have heard her.
